I agree fully. Of course developers can update their games, but not finished ones like this with many mods with small updates. A big update would of course be understandable, but making small updates from time to time just makes my side which expects the worst from people suspects the developers want to break the mods and ruin players gaming experience to force them to play DD2.
But thanks for attention to first D&D anyway.
Hi there. Are you on Windows 10?
Due to the CPP update it's now necessary to install Visual C++ 2022 Redist. We turned it on via SteamWorks so it should work for every new installation.
If you want to install it by hand, you can download the correct files here - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170#latest-microsoft-visual-c-redistributable-version
Both X86 and X64 need to be installed and then ideally restart your PC.
If you are NOT on Windows 10, please shoot our team an email at support@redhookgames.com with details regarding exactly what is happening (error messages, your PC info etc.)
I am Chinese, the above words may not be very accurate, please forgive me
