From there clicking on the folder "Dungeons" will take you to the files of all the games areas which hold all the art used in said areas, for example the ruins https://imgur.com/a/tB9Ed7p
To add a new background simply place the image you want to use into the area file and name it as shown, (dungeon name).room_wall.(custom name) or just "weald.room_wall.shroomland" for example. Hallway backgrounds use a number rather then a custom name.
All the background images must be png files for the game to use them.
Hallway background images must be size 720x720 and room backgrounds size 1920x720
In terms of advice I recommend that the borrders of your backgrounds be darkened so they can blend with the black outside of the image giving it a less blocky appearance.
