Unexpected error wgl?

hi guys i recently buy DD and when i installed it an error apears and say: wglMakeCurrent(): not valid driver, someone know what is this? i have a radeon rx 6600 and a Ryzen 5 5500 PLEASE HELP

Just encountered another wgl error out of the blue: "wglMakCurrent(): The handle is invalid"
Found two other ppl on Reddit with the same issue but didn't find any workarounds.
Any ideas?

The strange thing is that the game used to run fine before. Even today. And now without restarting the computer, without changing anything concerning the game or drivers I do get this error.

Restarting the computer after getting the error didn't help. "Fixing" the game data on steam didn't help. Uninstalling and reinstalling the game didn't help.....

I have the same problem. The game doesn't run at all, it throws error : "wglMakeCurrent(): The handle is invalid"

I didn't find any solution.

I have the radeon 6700xt, so maybe its a driver issue because you said that you have the 6600.

I updated the gpu drivers and the adrenaline software as well, but nothing changed. Same error again.

If you're still looking for a fix opting into the beta seems to resolve the error. The game will launch fine but to me it looks like it's running at a lower resolution than it actually should. But I haven't been able to verify this yet.

Hmm, curious. What're your system specs?

Hey, i had the same problem in a few other games.
In the end I found out, that my screen was the problem.
I had a tv connected which diplicates my pc screen.
When I remove the cable I can start it. Even connecting it after the start again isnt a problem.

Only when I wanna start the game while the tv is connected I get the error.

Maybe youve something similiar.

Hey, i found another solution, maybe it can help u in another games, install old drivers of ur Graphic card

Weird that for the very same problem we all have different solutions though.
