stuck on the old road loading screen

so everything loads fine but once i created a new game it gets stuck on the loading screen for the old road. I hear the music playing but it won't get past the loading screen.

I'm having the same trouble; I've tried all the fixes I can find so far for general problems, but nothing seems to be working.
