[SOLVED]Crash on loading save

Mods are involved here.

I was trying to get the Doses and Mimosas item to be classified as a gem instead, to solve a bug with the mod. While doing this i had my party in a dungeon and regularly restarted and loaded the game to test changes. Several times i got asserts on loading, and at one point copies of that item in my inventory bugged out and then vanished.

I eventually gave up and completely reverted my changes (by deleting the mod and letting it redownload), then played on a bit longer, but the game suddenly crashed

I'm unable to load my save now, it crashes every time i attempt it. Things seem to go fine at first, it shows the ruins loading screen. But right near the end where it usually asks you to click to continue, the game just crashes to desktop instead

The save folders appear to be empty though? I don't understand why i can't find any saves. Taken from Documents/Darkest

It seems probable that i've broken things with my editing. But i think if i could just edit the save to take me out of this dungeon, things would be okay again. Can that be done? put me back at the hamlet?

An update:
I realise now that the game has cloud saves.
Tried playing it on a different PC, it loads successfully from the cloud, and the issue appears to be gone.

In addition, and probably related; the first PC has now suffered hard drive failure. I suspect that this was causing some corruption of mods or game files, and thus causing the crash

this issue is solved for now
