Game crashes whenever I hover over Trinkets
The only way i can interact with trinkets is if I swap it with an item in my inventory. I cannot equip them. Game crashes around 2 seconds after i hover over the trinkets. I have tried multiple Saves and reinstalled, the crash still remains.

Same issue here.

To equip the trinkets I need to go back from "Embark" to the Hamlet. And sometimes it crashes if I hover trinkets during crawls.

What's your OS? I'm running in Ubuntu.

Same issue , Linux Mint 18.3. That is a general problem , not OS specific.

Same issue also, with Linux Mint 18.3, GeForce GTX 860M. Quite annoying.

I occasionally get random crashes at various points, but mostly I get the trinket crash, hover over a trinket for more than a second and the game will crash, every time. Ive tried in windowed mode and the "force vsync" fix, no luck.

HP Omen, Mint 18
i7-7700, GTX 1050
release 21142, no mods, no dlc

I suffered from the same one but upgrading driver from 390.25 to 390.48 fixed this issue. Try it.

No luck, just upgraded to 390.48 and it still crashes both fullscreen and windowed.
