With that said Pep Talk is a weird one since it's a stress resist buff and not a stress/health heal so there is never going to be a situation when you're desperate enough to use it. It's currently just a skill to use when you have 2 points and no other meaningful options. I'd honestly prefer it do something else entirely.
As I mentioned, doing something else entirely would be nice that isn't directly competing with the other two general camp skills. A small dodge or acc buff for 2 points is something I'd consider far more than a pointless 15% stress resist.
If they want to keep it the way it is now, an option you take when you have literally nothing else to spend your points on, then it could be reduced to 1 point and the buff could be dropped down to 10%.
Actually that's not obvious at all. Most of the camp skills went through a lot of reworks for the 1.0 release in an attempt to make them much more balanced.
I'm with you if you're comparing Pep Talk to a class skill but, there is no reason one shared skill should be inferior to another.
