The problem is not that they are difficult- They are, but that's the point of a giant crab beast that wants to kill you.
The battles are just annoying and tedious. They are difficult, but the difficulty doesn't create an enjoyable challenge.
I'm not saying anything about difficulty... just that there's already a method ingame to remove enemy PROT if that's what you want to do.
That's not what I want to do. I think that a mechanic by which an enemies' PROT can be reduced through brute strength would add to the already plentiful combat options.
Agreed. Multiple options to solve a single problem would be nice. There are too many problems in this game that only have one solution and that quickly gets stale (looking at you too curios).
