Some new/nerfed trinkets are weird
Let's compare:

#1
~ "Damage Stone" (common / all; +10% any dmg; -4 dodge)
vs
~ "Warrior's Bracer" (common / all; +10% melee dmg; -4 dodge)
Comment: in past W.B. was +15% melee dmg, now it is useless in compare with D.S., coz D.S. universal for melee/range. If W.B. wouldn't be "-4 dodge" probably that got some sense to use it.

#2
~ "Eternity's Collar" (v.rare / Flagellant; +10% death blow resist)
vs
~ "Tenacity Ring" (uncommon/all; +10% death blow resist; +5% dodge; -1% crit)
~ "Martyr's Seal" (v.rare / all; +12% death blow resist; +15% max hp; +75% dmg at D.D.; +9% crit at D.D.)
Comment: I think personal trinkets ("only XXX") should be a bit better than regular trinkets, like contain some benefits. In other case it is useless. Especially "very rare" type. If that trinket could be "common/uncommon" type that would have sense and good to use it in early game.

#3
~ "Suffering's Collar" (rare / Flagellant; +20 bleed and +20 blight resist if hp below 40%)
vs
{any trinket which gives these both resists}
Comment: Same as previous comment, and also exist trinkets which gives you same resists without need to be with low hp.

#4
~ "Coven Signet" (v.rate / all; -25% stress if has Crimson Curse)
vs
~ "Aria Box" (v.rare / all; -25% stress)
~ "Dark Crown" (uncommon / all; -25% stress and +15% virtue chance if torch below 26)
~ "Book of Sanity" (v.rare / all; -20% stress)
Comment: Most these trinkets beat C.S. without requering of being Crimson Cursed

Yeah, these seem pretty uncontroversial. There are a lot of trinkets...so maybe they didn't notice. I hope the dev's notice this.

Not in my experience. I'm a backer, installed the game at start of Early Access and have been around through all the dev cycles. They may not always agree with the feedback, but they listen and they care.

They care? They've been totally unable to address more balance issues than they have been able to address. At least they fixed AOE and pitch black being strictly best. Trinkets have never been well balanced.

The only benefit is that it allows you to take two of the same trinket without "technically" taking the same trinket. Situations where that is useful is a different story...
