I have tried all three capture modes in OBS MP. Game Capture will capture up to the loading screen, and then it just records the still image while still tracking the mouse. Window Capture simply captures nothing. The oddest is Display Capture, which I assume would simply capture what is on my monitor. However, once I load the game, it just records a black screen while still tracking the mouse cursor, even though the game is definitely loaded on my main monitor.
I have tried checking and unchecking all of the various options in the capture modes in OBS MP. I have tried lowering my resolution to 1080p from 1440p. The game still does capture fine for me in OBS Windows version, but I would rather stick to OBS MP if possible.
Has anyone made any headway with this issue?
I too tried everything I could think of in OBS MP version to no avail. Full screen, windowed, game capture, window capture.. all of it.
I'm sorry I don't have a solution there.
But as you said, the base OBS client (0.657b) does work. And I agree with you, I'd rather not have to use different clients if I don't have to. For this reason, I didn't end up streaming the game, when I wanted to. I didn't want to mess with setting up the windows OBS client and my overlays, etc at the time.
Hoping a solution presents itself.
