[BUG] Right Clicking on Food or Torches Sometimes Consumes Two
I have just recently come back to Darkest Dungeon after having not played for like 6 months.

I'm noticing, now, that when I right click on a torch or food to use them the game is activating the item on both the down click and then the release of the click. Does that make sense?

Either way, when I right click on food or a torch, it will sometimes register that action as a double click, which then consumes two of the item.

I can get around the torch problem by Pressing [T]. The only way to get around the double food consumption problem is to right click and hold on the food, which will consume one food, and then move my mouse cursor off of the food before releasing the button.

Has anyone else encountered this?

I think there's actually probably a mechanical problem with your mouse causing double clicking. Try replacing your mouse.

Nope. That isn't it.

Well I haven't heard of anyone else posting such a problem. I used to have that problem myself though, but it was fixed by replacing my mouse.

Well I have the same problem so now you have. My mouse functions flawlessly in every other application. This is a darkest dungeon bug which I hope to see fixed one of these days.

I'm having the same annoying problem. 6 years later and this bug still hasn't been fixed. I have a Logitech MX Anywhere mouse. Never had any problems right clicking before playing Darkest Dungeon. It's like the game is registering the button down event as a click, and the button up event as a separate click.

@Gandai You're describing the bug perfectly.

I am using the same Logitech G602 now, that I was back then, and I haven't had any other issues like this with any other games.

I doubt this is going to be addressed now that Darkest Dungeon 2 is out.
