Love interest + Deviant Tastes?

Why is it possible for a character to get both Love interest and Deviant Tastes or similar such combinations?

Because why not? and you can cure them in the treatment ward thingy

Hmm, maybe they decided it realistic enough, combinations like Deviant tastes and Flagellant is sertainly restricted.

It's quite realistic to have both traits at the same time. For example, you can have an addiction to gambling, but be banned from every gambling hall because you've previously been caught cheating (and word gets around). Thusly, the only fix for said situation would be to 'cure' yourself of either your addiction, or stop cheating completely and play fair. It just means they really like to do something but are no longer allowed because they were caught doing something they shouldn't, so they have to give up one or the other or stress out over the entire situation forever.

I also have the combination Love Interest + Deviant Taste on Dismas,
making it impossible to send him to stress treatment (for now).

I'm just curious if this is intended or not.
