W2 sucks ball.
Hope W3 is okay
Based on your Avatar and that you call W1 a great game just screem troll.
+1
W1 is a better game than W2.
To be frank, W2 only has better graphic.
While they do both black in the area around the eyes and have fairly heavy lines, the line work itself is completely different.
The lines and fills in the Witcher trailer are smooth, for the most part, with some hatching here and there. Much like from a comic book. Everything in Darkest Dungeon has this chiseled look to it. The lines tend to be jagged and not uniform in width, the fills have rough edges.
That's just my take on it.
Personally I enjoyed The Witcher more than The Witcher 2, though I did find all the walking around in The Witcher to often be excessive; it kinda felt like grinding.
Then again, The Witcher 2 irritated me to no end because I was always overencumbered... so much that I eventually gave up on crafting; I was tired of spending all my time worrying about how much the mats weighted.
Looking forward to The Witcher 3. They've had two games to iron out the wrinkles by now, should be pretty good.
W2 is not great because the game was unfinished. Only prologue and first big boss fight were really great. Beyond that, nothing special.
