Level 3 Won't Go On Level 1 Mission
Is this normal like will all of my characters refuse to do lower level missions or do only some get this superiority complex?

Yes.

Also if you use someone to low they will receive extra stress at the start of the mission.

yes this is normal. there are 3 tiers of mission difficulties. I don't remember the actual numbers, but i think only levels 0-2 can go on easy, 3-5 for medium, and 6 and above go for hard quests.

You can take lower people on higher missions and they usually do fine if you upgraded them. You know it is too much if they verbally object when you try to put them in a mission slot. (This is suicide!)

It's 0-2 for Apprentice.
3-4 for Medium/whatever it's called.
And 5-6 for Champion.

You can send lower ranked characters to higher ranked missions, but not the other way around.

I personally find that a bit.. weird.
I don't like it, but its there, just gotta deal with it, I guess.

Wish they'd just remove XP for higher levels in lower level missions instead.

Definitely agreed.

The point is to stop you from trivializing content and grinding gold/heirlooms/trinkets risk free with overleveled heroes. Preventing higher level heroes from gaining resolve in lower level missions doesn't accomplish that. I've posted elsewhere that scaling heroes down to the appropriate levels might accomplish the same goals without restricting hero use, but I honestly don't think it's a big enough problem to warrant development time. At most, new players should be better notified of the system so that they aren't surprised when it happens.

That is why we can get up to 5-6 groups. Keeps us honest and the game interesting the way it is set up.

Again I'll say you should be able to do it with a flat 50% that each overleveled hero leaves forever to find something better after you insulted him/her in such a way. They should complain the whole time as well.

There's a way you can circumvent the limit though, if you're a casual player and don't want to be victim to RNGesus like me.

I was just wondering if my Crusader was being self-entitled brat or if it's always the case. I think a full party of higher levels would be bad but I don't see what would be wrong with taking one or two.

Do the actual levels make a difference in stats or just skill/weapon/armor upgrades? Cause if so then my Level 3 Crusader is no different from a level 2 I haven't got enough relics to upgrade to the next rank of upgrades.
