Problems I have seen they tend to be stress magnets and they will always get targeted for attacks due to being a healer. If you can keep em healthy and calm they are a powerful class, however expect to have them spend time de-stressing after every mission.
They're best against low-dodge enemies (because of their poor accuracy) with lots of health (because of their high damage potential). They also have decent speed - try to kill enemies before they can act if you can.
Focus generally isn't worth using. In virtually all cases, the accuracy buff doesn't make up for wasting a turn. On the other hand, Revenge can be pretty good, particularly when combined with Hew. Just remember that there's a time and a place for it - hitting a 5 health enemy for 30 damage doesn't actually help.
Intimidate has higher accuracy than your other skills, so it can be good for finishing off low-health enemies.
no trick to leper, he deals a lot of dmg and he takes a lot of dmg, but hes not versatile. try to use him for high-torch parties, bc if he gets surprised/moved he's useless in back positions and takes longer than others to get back in position. i think he's best in the warrens
They are also good *defensively only* in the Sewer - use their Blight/Bleed removal skill - where most of the creatures are immune to Blight.
LEPER'S SKILLS
Combat: Chop, Hew, Intimidate, Revenge
Camping: Wound Care, Let The Mask Down, Bloody Shroud, Reflection.
LEPER'S EQUIPMENT (leaving out the negatives)
Steady Bracer: + 10 acc
Berserk Mask: +20% hp, +15% dmg,+2 spd
LEPER'S STRATEGY
Front of the line and usally the first to attack. He rarely misses and thats because of the Steady Bracer (common) that gives him +10 acc. Thereby not having to waste a turn using Focus. I have him swing with Hew and he usally kills or cripples the front 2 enimies within the first turn.
His Berserk Mask makes him more aggressive and a killing machine! If you need more acc his camping skill Reflection is stress healer plus it raises his acc by another 10 !!!
PLAGUE DOCTER'S SKILLS
Combat: Noxious Blast, Plague Gernade, Blinding Gas, Battlefield Medicine
Camping: Wound Care, Leeches, Preventive Medicine, Self-Medicate
PLAGUE DOCTER'S EQUIPMENT (leaving out the negatives)
Diseased Herb: + 20% to blight
Dazzleing Charm: + 10% to stun
PLAGUE DOCTER'S STRATEGY
She's in the last position. I mainly use her Blinding Gas to stun (Dazzleing Charm helps) the enimies in the first turn. Battlefield Med to cure any blight or bleed done to my team. Noxious Blast to help finish off wounded foes.
Hope that helps!
in my opinion his cleanse is a wasted turn, its a bandaid fix. you prevent more damage by killing whatever is causing the bleed/blight DoTs, than by cleansing it for a round.
a more effective tactic would be to use grave robber and hellion, then let them cleanse themselves with an added buff. but still, i would prefer outright killing monsters to prevent more damage over time
maybe in the unreleased higher dungeons if they ever start causing serious DoT, but once you get that high you're already rich enough to buy 125 bandage items lol
