Pretty damn addicting..

been playing a lot since i got this game and it goes from being extremely fun and enjoyable to extremely annoying.
however; whether it's being fun or annoying, i'm having a blast with this game. i love my team of Hellion (Miss Snoo-Snoo), Crusader (Sir Snuggle Butt), Bounty Hunter (Tagger'N'Bagger), and Vestal (Footsie-rella). i can get them through long veteran dungeons pretty well and the shorter-medium ones usually get completed with very low stress and above 50% health remaining.
i've had this group going for quite some time and i feel a need to keep them alive for as long as i can. so far, they feel unstoppable. together they have tracked down and killed the necromancer as well as the swine prince. currently have only done up to the the level 3 dungeons (veteran?).

i really didn't expect to enjoy this game as much as i am since i've never really been a fan of these types of games.

Well sir you see, you like being abused. Do you get a hardon when the fusiler aoe crits your team? Do you get the butterflys when swine give you syphillius? most likely because only true sick people enjoy this game fully

Alto your unhealthy attatchment to your pitiful fodder minions is sickening sir truely!

Ps, adding a mark into your group might be nice, perhaps grind a occultist up and put him in your third slot, just take him on a cake walk with the main group to test it out, mark and collect brother 50+crits no lie

Egh, I've never had a good experience with Hellions. Then again I main a plague doctor regularly and everyone else seems to hate the plague doctor so maybe I need to see if I've got any quirks that are making me run inefficiently. I've got plenty of gold for a trip to the sanitarium after all. You can carry so much more gold if you abandon the idea of torches.

I think people dislike the PD because hes more of a dot spamming utility hoe, and dots dont really fit in to most peoples idea of KILL IT QUICK SO IT NO GIVE ME SYPHALLIS, but the aoe stun is pretty good....... everyones got there prefs and theres fodder minions gallore to match it

I really want to use Plague Doctors more often, but having a high damage team is so much superior (from my experience at least) than a DoT team. The less turns you take to kill the enemy, the less chance that your team gets killed, stressed out, or have them contract a negative quirk (looking at you swine spawns/ wolf things). The only time DoT is useful is for tanky enemies or bosses that will always take multiple turns to kill, but even then classes like Hellion that already have damage can also do DoT with their bleed skills. Just my two cents, might have to do more experimenting with Plague Doctor.

My problem with PDs is they go insane before everyone else does. I don't know if it's only me, but they're always the ones getting out of a dungeon with the highest stress, if not going mad inside and threatening the group's mental health, which isn't that high btw. I do love to run ruins with them tho, that's why I keep one handy.

I can see what Scarecrow is saying but my Plague doctor seems to become heroic more often than not. And the bleed and blight heals are helpful plus using her for emergency anti-death's door has served me well, especially since I run her with the occultist. While the whole crew has great bleed resist it's still helpful to stop that ♥♥♥♥ stacking up on the entire crew.
