Personally, I think the game needs to make more mention of baubles...
"Curious is the bauble maker's art; his efficacy unbaubled by other baubles."
"A trifling bauble, but a bauble nonetheless."
"A man in a robe, claiming communion with baubles. Madness!"
"A singular strike!"
Considering some of the things the narrator says, I'm pretty sure the devs have a bunch of those from the 1900s.

Rules for when the player drinks:
You receive a crit. Drink for each crit.
Chug when a hero dies.
Drink of you abandon or retreat.
Drink when you receive a negative quirk.
Drink when hiring a new hero.
Rules for when anyone watching (not the player) drinks:
Player delievers a crit. Drink for each crit.
Player wins a battle.
Chug when the player defeats a boss.
Drink when a positive quirk is bestowed.
Rules for when everyone drinks:
The word "singular" or "single" is used.
A negative quirk is removed.
Drink when a hero levels up.
Don't forget to drink every time the announcer narrates about the torchlight being super bright and stuff!
