Guide to The First Boss - Necromancer
Heya Dev and Gamers, ive been enjoying myself immensely so far, kudos to the Devs for a smooth beta launch. Just thought ide put this here in case any other new players are having trouble and need a little help, i realise mine might not be the best or something you agree with, but if you want to point out thing i could have done better ide love to read them!

Overall game tip # 1

Jesters early on guitar party buff are a great way to help the rookies with their Accuracy, you cant afford to miss hit. Plus it helps with lepers overall low accuracy if you had him as a tank.

Alrite the first Boss - Rank 1

You should go for a minimum of least all of Heroes rank 1, but for less stress dmg ide suggest your team consist of 2 second ranks and other 2 first rank, preferably Tank and 1 DPs.

Also not of them should have any bad traits that reduce health or accuracy or dmg, this will help considerably.

Always look at the effect your skill has on your enemy. If it does little damage or has a below 70% chance to hit your better off using something else.

Bounty hunter is essential. (Must have the Mark skill. Dont have it buy it from the Guild shop) This is essential for not making this a draggy fight. Rank 2 Bounty Hunter had a 38 crit on him 1 minute into the fight with him haha.

For Tanking i would suggest Helion or Leper, both do good solid aoe and single targets.

Jester is as said above, a great way to improve the hit and crit chance for the whole party, but a jester is not reaaaally important, you could exchange him for another DPS.

12 Food, and 2 shovels, 5 Torches are the bare minimum you need for the long camp trips. If you have extra ide suggest those lock keys and 2 bandages for bleeding traps.

None of them should have their stress level already above 40-50%. (Ive found that when even 1 hero gets the stressed till 100% halfway in your chances of finishing it drops and he starts increasing overall party stress and sometimes not even hinder you in combat.)

And the healer or plague doctors are good choice, but ide go with the healer, more focused damage which helps keep that 1 skeleton only in the fight. But if you take place ide suggest gravedigger as well and get her poison dart, this 2 heroes will give you stacking dots.

Always keep your light on the second bar from the right, right before its full. You still get the chance of suprise and not waste torches, if you found you have extra towards the end you it all up for places you know are fights.

ide suggest not touching anything unless its a Wodden Box, Knapsack, or supply bag. Or have a item you know will work on the object.

There you have it, im sure most of have you a better way but this is my small way of helping the newbs! Happy Horrors!

I'd also add that Occultists can mark targets for Bounty Hunters with their Vulnerability Hex and point out that Resolve 2 heroes are the highest you can take on the Necromancer Apprentice mission. Resolve 3+ heroes will refuse the mission because it's beneath them, so take care not to overlevel the folks you plan to use.
