Ruins - Suit of Armor: Use (Crusader) - Gives a positive quirk
Not sure if it has other effects or works for other classes, but it at least does that.
Also, on one of the "Occult" curios in the Warrens, my Occultist got a negative quirk. I don't remember which one it was though :(
Grave Robber on Backpack - increased chance for finding a map.
Those are random. No effect based on character
But I hope they deepen this by making more of these vary according to the class of the hero.
I thought it was just a die roll that determines whether you spring a trap or get loot.
How exactly do I go about combining the item and the trap? Drag - drop?
Exactly that, you click on the container and it will have the accept and ignore options, inbetween those is a item slot, just drag and drop the item of choice into the slot.
Don't be afraid of experimentation, an item that doesn't work will do nothing other then destruction of the key/bandage/ect and stateing it had no effect.
edit: scratch that about the tutorial even mentioning the use of supply items. I don't remember now where it tells you it's possible - or even if it tells you or if I discovered it on my own by hovering over the space.

"Treasure" type is sometimes specific to the Curio (Heirlooms only, Food only, etc.), however i did not know what the types are, so i just left it there.
