Swine King

I went with 'Red Hook' formation, all level 3, gear and skills at level 3.

All was going well, but I lost my highwayman to the Swine King before finally slaying him.

Then, it all went downhill as Wilbur had a 100% success rate on his stun attacks, coupled with his apparently high speed, he stunlocked my entire party, and proceeded to hand my arse to me on a plate.

None left the warrens alive.

It's like XCOM all over again!

Great game.

Wow, does bleed damage stack?

I took down the King with bleed and blight attacks, plus my crusader hits for 20+ damage, so he wasn't too much trouble

But once the King was dead, my three remaining adventurers had low HP and Wilbur just went nuts and did me in.

What lineup were you using?

Red Hook; Crusader, Highwayman, Vesta, Plague Doc

I used them because they were closest to hitting level 4, but in hindsight man-at-arms and arbalest might have been better instead of crusader and plague doctor.

Swine King.. yeah. but Swine God is your worse nightmare. Don't even try to fight him without stun ressist trinkets.


Only one party member survived this fight...

In my opinion the most dangerous thing about the Swine Prince/King/God is Wilbur, now he have a stun attack that he can use even when you're fighting the Swine King/God (he start to use it only in advanced battles) that target one member of your team.

yeah. You must kill him asap. My startegy in those 3 fights - Hightwayman with quick draw charm and focus ring. One big lucky crit can secure your victory....
