File Permission is missing for Darkest Dungeon, anyone knows how to fix this?

I got Darkest Dungeon on Steam, but after my anti-virus made an false flag and stopped an update it keeps saying that File Permission is missing for Darkest Dungeon even after i restored the files from quarantine.

Anyone knows how to fix this?

I have tried the following stuff:
Turning the computer on and off
Trying to update again
Uninstalling the game and re-installing it

Revert to the legacy branch for now

how do you revert to legacy in steam. I started the update and now it is stuck in the file permission and gives no way to roll back

I'm having the same problem, I also tried deleting the game or clearing the cache but nothing

In your library, right click -> Properties
Betas -> Beta Participation
Select the pulldown for "legacy - 2022 version before updates"
This will queue the update

Note once you click "Play" in your library you will have 3 launch options. Ensure you select "Play with Legacy Win 32-bit version". The other 2 options won't work until you revert to the main branch
