If it's still detecting the mouse despite not being connected then I don't know what to do. I hope someone else can help.

EDIT: Also are you playing on a 4K display by any chance? I THINK (don't know personally) the game's UI doesn't scale well on super high resolutions so the cursor might actually be there but simply just too small to see if you're using a 4K monitor.

It was on DD2 but possible it's the same issue.
The solution is to turn off "overwolf, bandicam, msi after burner rivaturner, any 3rd party overlay software program" in that case. I don't know what any of them are but maybe it rings a bell for OP.
