I think the best designed classes in the game are the ones with serious flaws that force you to think about how to use them properly. So far from what i've seen of the Abomination class, his only flaws are that he can't go into dungeons with religious characters and he temporarily causes a bit of stress when transforming.
but thanks for letting me know he's also overpowered so i wont be using him anytime soon , this game is easy enough as it is already.....
Not a bug. The abomination has all seven skills available because three of them are only available in human form, three are only available in beast form, and the seventh is the transformation skill.
The problem is that's not even the case, he gets more than enough stress reduction by simply killing everything that looks at him funny. It's the same problem torchless runs had during the initial early access release.
Is he overpowered? Probably but, his restrictions make it so I don't really have a need for more than one on my roster and I don't take him out all that often. He's pretty much unstoppable when I do.
So, is the Houndmaster good or bad?
I´ve played quite a bit but I lack some good knowledge. For example, I´ve never used the grave digger so far. Never.
Hound's Rush is one of if not the most powerful attack in the game, with +100% damage on a marked opponent once fully upgraded, +35% damage vs Beast opponents, AND 3pts of bleed damage per round. It can be used from any position except the 1st and can hit any part of an enemy lineup.
Hound's Harry does 3pts of bleed damage to every member of the enemy lineup when fully upgraded, so 36pts of bleed damage total over 3 turns, which can then be stacked each round. 36 doesn't even include the immediate damage dealt, so the actual damage applied per turn is probably going to be closer to 50.
Whistle marks opponents and lowers their prot by 30%, making it the best mark in the game against opponents who are actually worth marking.
Cry Havoc party heals stress, and as if that wasn't enough utility for such a high damage character, he can also Guard with a significant increase to his already high base Dodge, he can self-heal for 10HP, and he can stun enemies from the frontline. Unlike other classes in the game, there is literally no position in a lineup where he isn't useful.
On top of all this, he comes with two dog treats in every dungeon that buff his damage by a crazy amount. Of course, his normal damage is already so ridiculous that players often discard the treats for more loot space... but on boss runs, it's basically the equivalent of having a tactical nuke in Call of Duty. If you really want to trivialize boos fights and end them fast, bring Houndmasters, slap a mark down, eat a dog biscuit and laugh as you eviscerate your target almost instantly.
