"Slowly, gently, this is how a life is taken."

"Did he forsee his own demise? I care not, so long as he remains dead."
Of course, plenty of crit / deathdoor comments alongside it. Narrator is a huge part of what drew me to DD when I first played it (which I played entirely blind, no trailers were seen, no gameplay was watched, just bought it and played and got completely sucked in).
My definite favourite, especially during a really intense fight and hitting deaths door: "And now the true test - hold fast, or expire!"
What I don't get is that older versions of the game seem to have had a LOT more dialogue compared to the newer, like killing enemies = "Decimated" etc. I've never heard any of those in my version, sadly.
