Fish Idol Cove curio

There's this Cthulhu-esque statue in the Cove that gives debuffs if you interact with it without an item. With holy water, though, you get a buff.

What irks me, though, is that the buff lasts only three rounds! Seems a pretty big waste of an item use to me.The only use it would have is if there's a battle right after exiting the room.

Is this a bug or is it intended?

Yeah, i would really like that one to be fixed too... the latest bone altar i touched also just gave a 3-rnd buff, wich was new to me... also a unitended annoying little thing
