Lost Trinkets?

So as the title suggests, some trinkets seem to have been permanently lost. Namely, the miller’s pendant and the shard spear for the shield breaker. I was doing runs in the farmland and got to about 200 kills before one of my ladies died. No worries I thought, we will end the run, wait for to relief her of her refracted status and then try again.

However, when I next went to try the farmland run, I noticed the miller pendant, something which makes killer the miller significantly easier was missing. I assumed that they must have been lost and I just had to wait to kill the shrieker to retrieve them. However, I have just killed said shrieker and still no trinkets. Was I meant to destroy the nest? I was quite fond of the shard spear (which is no longer available for purchase from the wagon) and I'm less than pleased that it seems to be permanently lost?

The shrieker give you 8 trinkets, if you lost more the shrieker dont give it to you

try sending 3 heroes to the endless harvest with trashy trinkets and make them die and the trinkets lost.
that must be enoght for 8 lost trinkets and spawn the shrieker

After I lost two heroes in farmstead (one had the pipe), I waited for a few weeks and shrieker never showed up. So I send one new recruit with crap trinkets on suicide mission. Shrieker showed up next week, but after I killed him I didn't get my trinkets back. I send another recruit with crap trinkets to die and then shriker event comes back. This time I finally got my stuff back. It took about ten weeks. This is a bit too painful? Seem a bit excessive.

Shrieker spawns might be rarity-sorted, which makes it easier to retrieve unique trinkets. However, the Shrieker needs to have at least eight uncommon or better trinkets to spawn the retrieval quest. This in turn means you need to keep track of how many trinkets the Shrieker has.
