I decided to get into this after on and off playing for like an hour before quitting for a random amount of time. But I want to get back in. I see its got Mod Manager support so I check Nexus to see what it's like. First thing I see, porn. Ok, not that bad there's always gonna be porn maybe I just got the chance to see a couple mods uploaded. Then I go to check the most popular mods...

It's all porn. There's maybe 3 mods that are sfw, the rest is porn. Jesus how horny of y'all mfs

Use the official Discord or Project Iron Crown to source some mods. The Workshop is unfortunately a cesspool.

Also don't use Nexus, use the workshop, it has Mod Management built in. Nexus is often out of date and ass.

I would, if I was more artistically inclined u_u I wouldn't be -capable- of making a mod to my satisfaction.

Don't these places have filters? If they don't, having them would be a big help in this case. To find what you're looking for easier.

I haven't used nexusmods extensively but I do know I needed to login be able to see one of the romance mods for witcher 1. If there's no adult mod filter… an odd decision or maybe it was forgotten.

Steam has literally no way to filter out results except what category it's in. You can filter out skins as a whole, but you can't filter out -nsfw- skins.

Hmm. That's probably because porn mods are not allowed in workshop, afaik.

So the borderline porn ones are not accounted for even if it would be good if they were.

Nah, there's quite a bit of blatantly pornographic ones. One of the most saddening for me was the Antiquarian Foxdemon, which has... everything. Tits out, fluids, the works. And the "sfw" mod (that also de-furrified it for some reason)? Still has the fluids and also still has the uncensored skins selectable.

I'm pretty sure that workshop mods allow for explicit content now.

hmm. I remember the time entire game workshops used to get locked due to too many nsfw mods.

This seems sensible, if only for better categorisation. Which is why the lack of categorisation is very odd.

But then, the steam updates and policy changes in the past 3 years have been the same.

Ah yes. "This" community. As if sex isn't one of the top sellers across most media/communities since the dawn of time. It might be wise not to check almost every other mod-capable game out there.
