Scouting chance

A german guide tells, that the Grave Robber has an increased scouting chance. Is that true? Or does it only rise by abilities of her?

No, it's not. Base scouting chance is 25% at entering a room for the 1st time. Final scouting chance is 25% + sum(trinkets and quirks), no matter your team comp.

GR's very rare trinket is pretty good and has a bit of +scout on it, and she has a very cheap +scout camping skill. Ironically it should be talking more about the houndmaster, who has more and stronger +scout options.

Is it true, she supports the group in raising the chance to surprise the enemy, or is this just a myth? (Someone on german yt videos said this.)

Suprise chance is just raised by camping skills, items and light lvl. She can support the team via scouting items/camp skills, since your party can't get surprised whenever you scouted said battle

again, camping skills and trinkets. no class have any passive abilities regarding scouting or surprise.
