Shovel and Obstacle
What does it do if you do not use a shovel on obstacles? More stress, more damage and less torchlight?

If i'm right it does damage and increase your stress (maybe less torchlight too but i'm not sure)

Yup, all of the above. And I wouldn't be surprised if you could catch some disease by digging with your hands (if not, devs, please ignore that last sentence)

It's a minor ammount of damage (1 or 2 I think) but a 25% stress hit from non-commited observation. I done it a bunch when I just started out because the way it works is confusing.

This might be something the devs might want to adress, actually - it took me a while to realize I'm supposed to click on the shovel as it's the only box that works that way. I think a lot of people complaining about stress intitally are doing the same as I did, they see the box pop up and press "ok" instead of the shovel and wonder where the stress came from or think that even if you do have a shovel this also causes stress. Needless to say that the game went from "really hard" to "not that hard" when I figured out I'm supposed to click on the shovel and that it's selected automatically.

It's literally the same pop-up you see for all curious 'cept the middle part is already filled in... This can't be confusing to many.

Pretty sure the damage amount is more than that. 10% of HP or something like that.

I did the same thing. I knew I had to use the shovel but I figured they already selected it for me.

But it doesn't work and I'll bet you money it is.
