Diseases Worth Keeping?

I noticed rabies boosts your damage by 15% but lowers your ACC.

I really didn't notice my party missing more, but I did notice them doing more damage. (Jester and Abom)



Anyone else have experience with this or any other diseases that might be worth keeping?

Yeah acc becomes an issue in late game, so a little of both.

I rather not having rabies then getting 3 attacks misses in row

Two PD stun misses almost wiped out a full champion team.

The Ague seems ok, +10 atk, -5 spd and %hp. If you could get both on the same guy he would hit like a truck! Especially with a buffer!

The Fits is the only other disease with a positive, +3 speed at the cost of... too much.

I wondered whether long term this might end up killing the hero ? So I got rid of it, but otherwise I would have kept it on all (number undisclosed for pride reasons) heroes who had it.

Early on it may not be the problem to keep the ones that give you bonus to damage like rabies, but later on even on veteran dungeon you don't want any diseases with minus to Acc or speed.

I'd say early on Rabies is valid to use paired with an ACC+ trinket. On Veteran and Champion dungeons, however, the damage needs to be able to reliably hit the enemy and -10 ACC is pretty huge at that point.

None. As others pointed out, diseased seem like ok idea only in low lvl quests. In lvl3+ you don't wanna have any of those. Like the -10 ACC would mean that you start to miss your attacks even with full upgrades+trinkets. Exactly then you will realize that you simply can't afford to miss at all.

Ague on crusader can be very good however if you dont mind/want him act last as often as possible.
