Shambler Rewards....
I've killed 2 shamblers today, neither gave me a sexy Ancestral trinket.
Now, I don't have even half the trinkets that the shambler / champ dungeons drop so, tad bit odd isn't it? Guess it's like the Secret Rooms, as in you can get those sexy heads or a bunch of money.

Sometimes they won't drop anything,sometimes they will drop loot. just as with any game rare miniboss.

Shambler only drops 5 trinkets, Bottle, Map, Scroll, Idol and Candle. These are also unique to Shambler so you can't get them from Champ dungeons.
Are you sure you don't have all of those?

Well,both Bottle and Idol you can get from Champion dungeons-ruined both quests though.It is very rare to occur,but it can.

Any way to farm the Shambler with some reliability? I just seem to be making lots of dark runs without meeting a single one or an Altar.

Just pop the altar five times and you should have all the trinkets he drops. No reason to ever fight him again. Ever.

Best way to find a shambler seems to be Boss dungeons.
Game likes to stick it in and break it off like that.

Another way is Gamble.

Some time ancestor's trinket can be obtain as reward from gamble.

I got additional Coat , Potrait , and Musket ball from gamble.(now i have 2 of those thing in additional of normal drop one.)

but beware this way is not reliable and very very very hard. harder than fight 3 shambler at once.
