Now the game is fully released, so it's up to a normal price of $25, with the 20% percent discount.
They're not baiting sales, they just pushed it up to $25 because the game is fully released and out of Early Access. Also the game is well worth the $25 price point.
Let's all relax.
We posted a message about it. If you want to believe it or not is your choice. Please refer to the CODE OF CONDUCT post. You aren't treating others with respect that we expect from our users. You can absolutely raise you displeasure with the price, but don't treat our community members like trash.
Look, pal. I know it's no fun to be ganged up on, but you made some pretty inflammatory claims in your original post: that the developers "baited" people into buying their game, and then you implied that they were engaging in illegal activity -- all without any evidence to back it up except your assumption of what you think happened.
Of course you're going to get backlash as a result. Dunno what you were expecting, to be honest.
'He started it', is not, in fact, a generally accepted defense for breaking rules on forums. It's also not generally accepted for speeding tickets, theft, assault...
So the developers *deliberately* set this up to bait people in with the intent on getting an extra 5 dollars out of them, despite creating a post urging people to wait and/or refund the game if they did actually make said purchase?
Okay. Since you say that is ACTUALLY what happened, where is your evidence?
Which they say clearly in the topic is the intended early sale price, and the price will revert after a couple weeks to its normal price. The fact a discount isn't displayed (and the fact it went away and they had to change the price in the first place) is said as a Steam/Valve issue that they are working to correct.
