Just use Motionjoy and emulate your mouse. ;)
I've lost all desire to play this game. If the game had controller support I'd have bought it but it didn't so I moved on to other games a long time ago.

So don't be rude, its more easier to use joy2key then integrate controller support I think.
You're not serious. No way you are comparing native controller support with a keymapping program. I'm not jumping through those hoops to play a game, certainly not when I have hundreds of games in my backlog that have native controller support.
Like I said, I posted this at launch and the answer was no then, and I think it's still no now so I have moved on.
Just wanted to pop in and say that we are planning on bringing controller support back to the PC. When exactly? We haven't set a hard date as we are currently still working on the last PS4/VITA patch that has all the non-critical fixes for UI/UX that we have collected since launch.
While that has been going on we have also begun the messy process of back-porting all the changes that were made for PS4 back to the PC branch and making sure there are no conflicts. Controller support is part of this, but its a bit messier since we are trying to figure out the best way to handle it on PC (which controller glyphs etc) and if we want to integrate with Steams Controller API. All of that takes more time than just porting it back over like the other features/changes/fixes we've done on PS4.
All that being said we are absolutely planning to bring official controller support back to PC, but the timeline is still a bit cloudy. Once I get more info I will be sharing it here and everyone else we post to let our players know the plan.
I've been eyeing Darkest Dungeon for quite awhile now. But these days i play most games from the comfort of my bed on a BIG TV, so im kinda waiting till it gets gamepad support. Not putting a mouse and keyboard on my chest :)
Thank you guys!
Excellent. I will certainly re-consider purchasing this title when it has controller support. My gaming PC is an HTPC in my Living Room so I cannot play games that require a keyboard + mouse.
