Also since they share one HP pool, AoE damage works to your advantage as they tend to have higher total damage output.
An Occultist specialized to kill Eldritch is also not a bad idea, and pick on the Heart whenever it spawns.
A Vestal with the party heal should be enough to keep your party alive at the bare minimum health, but...yeah, I find the Flesh pretty tough as well. It doesn't always ends well for me.
+1. I included houndmaster in my party too. Hounds Harry at rank 5 is 3 pts/rd with AoE. As a result, each attack stacks 12 dmg/rd which is insane in my opinion.
Yes, all of my guys are maxed out. The problem is, I don't even have time for Hound's Harry's damage to start ticking before I'm forced to abandon the fight (or leave everything up to RNG). The boss literally drops my entire group to critical health on its first turn.
I don't really know how to mitigate this :\ unless it's common for everyone to do this and just hope for the best.
I'm about to try bringing a Leper with Bulwark and Man At Arms with Guard and Riposte to tank the head damage and a Houndmaster to deal DoT damage and a Vestal to heal. Hopefully this setup will work out better. Damage output will be much lower for me, but hopefully it'll at least help my group stay alive!
And the Leper and Man At Arms did not need any healing at all, while the Houndmaster was able to do considerable damage pretty much on his own! Yay!
Yeah, good job! One monster less to be afraid about!
MaA should generally protect the Hound Master, alternating with physical attacks. The HM should spam Hound Harry or Hound Rush on one of the heart types as appropriate. Ves keeps up the Healing. Plague Doctor should be stocked up on stun/speed trinkets, and should stun the back rows if they're dangerous, or blight if not.
Bring a full stack of antivenom and bandages plus as many holy water as you can carry. Apply the holy water before the fight to prevent the DoTs from sticking, and reapply as necessary.
MAA/MAA/HM/Vestal. Everyone gets guarded by a MAA and one houndmaster is still enough damage to kill the boss in reasonable time.
