Help for Plague Doctor role.
I guess im a semi-noob I guess, but I seriously cant find a use for my plague doctor, ive made it pretty far with a arbalist, vestial, hellion and crusader.

Edit: http://imgur.com/a/Nf6Iz - my 3 best heroes atm, my arby doesnt have anything special

Plague Doctor is a bit underpowered at this point, you're right.
She has a great stun, and some powerfull dot-abilities though. In the Cove she's quite useful as a backrow support, because the cove-enemies are weak to blight and the backrow stun can be a real relief (also, her bleed-heal).
Your setup is pretty powerful as it is, no need to force characters that you don't feel like right now :)

The plague doc is also good in a medium or long warrens run because she can cure disease with camp skills. Her stun and Blight can be trinketed to the point where they are almost always effective against almost anything.

I would say your go to team seems pretty strong, albiet slow. Watch out for spiders.

Yea speed is an issue for me so im thinking of lvling a Man at Arms for his super speed and dodge buff to replace hellion.

Good speed(almost great) and best stun for 2 enemies, disease heal(camp skill), blight with great dmg and 2 targets , some utility in blight/bleed heal/deathdoor saver. For me she is definately A tier for cove and ruins atleast, also B-C tier for warrens, weald. The way i use her:
95% of the time stun(blinding gas) turn 1,blight/bleed/heal turn 2,w/e turn 3.

I havn't really found cove too difficutl with no blight, my hellion usually gives no ♥♥♥♥♥ about bleed resist, however for ruins she seems good since skeles dont bleed.

Blight is also way better in lvl 3-5 dungeons against high PROT targets, but main thing is back row double stun with good chance and some utility.

Plague Doc is not much of a damage dealer, but she's great for the support role. Stun comes in handy a lot (especially that the skill stuns two enemies at once), and then we have bleed and blight, both great for high HP and high Def enemies. Also there's empower ability to make your heroes stronger for a few turns.

But the other people before me are right. It's best to play with the setup you find most comfortable with. :)

@OP, also had trouble initially finding a good fit for the plague doctor. I had a snafu with my roster which resulted in a "guaranteed to fail" team.

The plague doctor was part of that team and found the back row two-person stun to be a stop gap for not having a healer available to run. It stalled the stress damage that the enemy rear was usually causing or ranged damage. The little heal was sufficient at times to recover from Death's Door. The rear blight was good when both enemies were vulnerable to it.

Sorting out the roster, but going to revisit the Plague Doctor to push toward the Veteran roster.

Ive found that a crusader with war cry + vestial stun is basically free perma super torch (radiant light) my group atm is a slow and steady dungeon killer, healing isnt a prob and warcry + torch lets me mitigate the stress buildup, my BIGGEST weakness is actually group shuffles, i have it made so if ppl are in their spot im unkilable but the moment they are moved, ♥♥♥♥ hits the fan.

PD's blight skills (Noxious Gas and Plague Grenade) are effective for Ruins and Cove runs. Also good for Warrens and other runs because he heals blight and bleed (Battlefield Medicine) and diseases for medium and long runs. And he has a damage and speed buff for other purposes. (Emboldening Vapours)

healing blight and bleed is nice but, hellion has a free self cleanse and heal and with vestial arbalsit and if need be crusader heal those are negligible. The 2 man back stun seems nice but vestial can stun 1 peson already in 3 rows as well as light torch and do dmg with it.

I use her for the stun, and she just being mvp, that stun is the best.

I just tried a double-Plague Doctor, double-Helion team. One PD and one Hellion dedicated stunners and the others dedicated Damage dealers.

It's a little OP to be honest. You can often stunlock the whole enemy team for two turns while they eat a bunch of DOT.

It has the drawback of not providing any way of stress healing, but honestly that didn't matter much.

My personal best comp for hard dungeons:PD, GR/occultist(cove)/houndmaster,abomination, hellion or man at arms.

I rather like this idea. May try it in a new profile or if my roster suffers a fatal accident, play around with double plague doctors and at least one hellion.
