How Circus Death chance does work?

There is chance to death during Circus battle, but first attack, second and third attacks dont kill them. Why. I mean wtf?

Death Blow Work the same as Main Game with Several Change :

• Everyone Have 75% Base Death Blow Resist, and There is Trinket and Some Hero Ability to add it up to 95% Death Blow Resistances
  
  
• Everytime your Hero and Opponent Get hit at Death Door their Death Blow Resistances Reduces -15% till 0% or a Guarantee Death Blow (at Base 75% its need's 5 Death Door Check to kill if you unlucky)
  
  
• There is Trinket That Have ability to Piercing the Death Blow Resistance, Some hero have it as their Ability to Piercing Death Blow Resistance and Debuff Death Blow Resistances, one Hero can Bypass it but end up with Self Debuff
  
  
• 200 Stress and 0 HP its A Guarantee Death Blow like Base game
