Why does this game have so many nude mods

Because that's the nature of modding. Have a look at skyrim, fallout, hells, even minecraft. Plenty of cool and non lewd skins for darkest dungeon, you only have to browse enough to find them.

One of my biggest complaints about Steam these days.. They threw any sort of quality control out the window and it's all just anime porn now. In a few more years this platform is going to be unbearable.
