First time I heard about Antiquarian and Musketeer

from recent patchnote, are these two already in game or what are they suppose to be?

The Antiquarian is the latest/final hero planend for release. Go and try her out. She's fun. The Musketeer was an exclusive reward for kickstarter backers who helped this game get funding to be created and get on steam in the first place. Because it's an exclusive it's "just" an Arbalest reskin. The character looks different, skills have different icons & names, some of the dialogue barks are different but it basically plays exactly the same. If you're a kickstarter backer then you should have instructions to get the musketeer. If not then hey, it's not that different so you get to enjoy all the other heroes anyway.

As with the other heroes she has four colour sets.

I have downloaded the update, but the version of the game is still 13881 and a new character I have never come across in the coach. In the beta I did not enter. What could be the problem?

So I will not get 100% of game content because some other website?

What about items for specific heroes? What if I find something for musketeer, it will be useless

wow msuketeer looks 100x cooler than arabelist, 100x more.

so basically arabalist is the crappy version of musketeer?

Don't worry. After I updated I had to wait something like 4 hours before an antiquarian turned up at the stage coach. With 15 or 16 heroes to choose from and only so many coming in on the coach each week sometimes it takes a while.

She's there. She just hasn't arrived yet.

I'm pretty sure you won't find Musketeer specific items unless you have the musketeer class.

so yeah, even the developers know the musketeer is the best version and arbalist is the worst since they handpicked musketeer for kickstarter.

Nope. The Arbalest came first. The kickstarter reward class was voted on. If the vote had got another way we might have got a corrupted crusader or a wicked witch (occultist reskin). It's not something thatw as removed from the game. It was a little something added in to help thank the orignal people who donated their money to help make the game happen.

The devs have admitted they regret making it an exclusive but don't feel comfortable going back on their word. I should imagine they might create a similar character reskin at some point for other characters and those would be available for everyone to purchase. If such a pack should just so happen to include the musketeer then I wouldn't object.

yeah its just a shame that musketeer is one of the coolest looking characters and the arbalist is a goofy lookingwoman with big trousers.
Thats the real issue I guess.

They got both. Personally I like the Arbalest a bit better.

mmm your comment sounds...racist. Maybe you mean 'we got a black woman in big trousers, they got a witchhunter looking white woman with a gun...' to be more exactly and balanced description on each side of the sentence? :P

I like the arbalest, btw, and i love to have the posibility to add a musketeer via DLC. But if the problem is 'exclusive' then we are not going to play with her...never?
