I think my 1st playthrough it was 4 or 5 (due to being greedy as ♥♥♥♥ in the long dungs).
The only hero i lost that was of value was a level 4 Arbalest, but I have a level 6 Arbalest now so all is good.
Post launch save no deaths and 1/4 Darkest Dungeon Quests done.
I have lost no heroes, ever.
there were a few pathetic puling wretches that couldn't pull their weight
more seriously though it's a game who cares what other people did, just enjoy yourself, if that means gleefully stacking corpses then by all means.
developers should maybe consider a building brick minigame in which you can build houses and things using corpses from the graveyard
1 missing in action somewhere in the Darkest Dungeon.
2 fighting the Siren for the first time. She made Reynauld kill Dismas. I had to left him behind so they can be together for eternity.
4 against the Swine Prince. I was happy for the crit on that little guy hiding behind the boss before I saw what happened.
ok i make funny at first
but now is time for real talk
serious talk
if you try to do things conservatively then you never stretch your limits
playing things safe is not what man do.
must adventure, must explore
must suffer and die
take bad with good, never risk bad, then never git gud
to be man is mysterious thing
learn, grow, make mistakes, those things go together. some make more mistakes than others but so what everyone's different
so remember is not just liberal "everyone different and special it's ok ur ok im ok everyones ok lets all hold hands and dance around a tree"
now go git gud.
I disagree.
I'm fine with the game getting harder and more complex, I like that. The game got more balanced overall, and much harder since early early access (a good thing). But a few of the re-worked enemies are a bit OP compared to the rest.
mr no death run
some people have 99% genius and 1% effort, some have 99% effort and 1% genius.
some people just read guide, some people write guide.
but if you never fail then probably you're just not trying hard enough.
(edit) -
that isn't just saying throw people in meat grinder either.
Right now my Bounty Hunter got Syphilis from a snail in Cove.
I can't handle this. It's too hard... to understand.
As for me, i lost about 15 in my 1st playthrough in EA, 3 in my second playthrough (not counting the fifty-odd level 0's i sacrificed to suicidal dark runs AFTER beating the DD), & zero in my NG+ run so far (i'm on week 20, killed all apprentice bosses, have 24 level 3+ w/ almost 0 stress across the board, never had a resolve check, never abandoned a quest... so pretty much SpectralProphet levels of professionalism
