Is the game worth the 25 bucks?

Yes it's worth it. No, it's not anything like Diablo 3.

It's a turn-based RPG* with hero permadeath. Nothing like Diablo 3 (no, not even hardcore mode). That being said, it's worth the $25, as you can easily sink 40-60 hours into it. That being said, the game does punish you for going into a mission unprepared. So you can lose a max-level hero as easily as you can lose a newbie hero if you get careless. If that possibility is unappealing to you, I would steer away from the game.

As others will probably tell you: look up some game streams online to get a sense for how the game works. That should help you make a decision.

Absolutely not. There is a reason they dropped the price down to 10$ for the holiday sale and it didn't exactly make stellar sales even then. And it was on sale every 3 weeks or so before that. Once the release hype is over it will get back to what it's actually worth, which is 10-15$ max.

Wait for the inevitable sale or get something else during the current one - 25$ can get you a lot of game nowadays and this one simply doesn't have 25$ worth of actual content. Not to mention that the current balance is a mess.

I think it is worth it, however if you are tight on cash, just wait for a sale. I have 125 hrs in it and if you figure 25 bucks, I'm at around 20 cents an hour. I did get it at the sale where it was something like 10.99, so that makes it about 8 cents an hour....Definitely, worth my money.

So, my opinion is that is justified for 25, but as a smart consumer, if you need to save cash, wait for a sale. It is worth the wait.

Wait for a sale and stay happy. It's a very good game and it WILL go on sale.
