Collector spawn rate too high on champion?

On my last 10 champion runs I had the Collector spawned 8 times, which is insane. During whole novice stage I met him once, and during whole veteran stage met him once as well. Now I meet him basically 80-90 % of the time. Is it RNG or is he so common in champion runs?

PS. I love the game by the way, I just don't love the Collector :-)
PS2. I know how to beat him, he's just so frikkin annoying with trash reward.

Given that the Collector spawn rate is linked to how much inventory space is filled, it might just be that you're more likely to meet the spawn criteria in higher level dungeons.

I suppose it's luck. TBH when I started champion runs for the 1st time I met him literally every run for the 1st few runs. Then I haven't emt him for like 20 weeks.

Could be worse.. If you struggle with the collector, be thankful it's not the shambler.

If you don't have the proper party to finish collector fast + you get a bit unlucky highwayman head >>>> shambler.

I merely meet him every 3-4 dungeons
The Collector is pretty easy to beat, and with a good team, you can beat him in only 2 turns (3 hit, 1 stun, and less 4 hit).
And after, you would be like "well, nice to see you again".

He's a great source of money, and you will become the Collector of the Collector.
