Monster player icons and shopkeepers

It`s probably intentional, but the players` icons can sometimes be replaced by a flesh monster with eyes. And the shopkeeper can be too. How can you fix this creepy stuff? It happens after you go inside the darkest dungeon for the first time. Are there any mods that remove this?

It is most certainly intentional. It can't be fixed once you have entered the darkest dungeon. Now you can almost see what lies beyond the veil.

There is nothing to fix, you are only seeing the world as it really is at that point.

I know it`s intentional. But they really shouldn`t do that with shopkeepers when you are buying supplies. It was just so creepy when he flashed for a second. I can deal with the hero icons, but shopkeepers are too creepy. I was just wondering if someone had a mod to fix this creepy mess.
