Just go into ruins with antiq (better with Ruins Explorer, and the more hero have this the merrier), bring some keys, then trade shields for deeds.
It says which area has more of each type of heirloom in the glossary in-game. It's the book icon on the bottom-right in the Hamlet.
iirc:
Weald: Deeds
Warrens: Portraits
Ruins: Busts
Cove: Crests
And it's very noticeable. It doesn't mean other heirlooms don't spawn but there's a significant difference in the # per mission, though I've had missions in the Warrens where I get an abnormal # of deeds, portraits in the Ruins, on occasion it's still a pretty solid bet that if you need a specific type of heirloom to go to its associated region.
Where did y'all get the data? The loot.json file doesn't mention anything about that. Unless I'm looking at the wrong place...
But it is noticetable when you trying farm a specific heirloom. For example I have problem farming portraits, but by going to warrens I get like 2x times more than any other region
Same deal with deeds, they are significantly more common in Weald.
Idk where the percentages are coming from but I got it from the in-game glossary. It's kind of a pain that they did it in alphabetical order rather than having a handy search function or tab selection but "Deed" "Crest" "Portrait" and "Bust" are all in there with a note on the area to go to find them.
It's worked for me so far but it's not foolproof, like I said I've had weird runs where I get a ton of paintings in the Weald or busts in the Cove for some reason. But that's definitely the exception and not usual so far.
Because loot itself is often random, the amount of heirlooms found is typically different on every run. E.g. monsters or curios may drop random loot types like gold, trinket, gems or heirlooms. IF this is one (or more) heirloom draw(s) the mentioned chances apply.
Ah right. seems I didn't read it properly yesterday. Yes, the chance of getting deed is indeed bigger in weald (3), as big as crest chance.
Ruins drop more busts.
Warrens drop more portraits.
Weald drops more deeds.
Cove drops more crests.
That said the bias isn't huge. It's noticeable if you're looking for it, usually. Now it's probably more important to find the high-value quest rewards and focus on them.
