scroll all the way down, there its the second, change the values, done.
Alright.... I think I have it changed properly. Thanks a ton! Glad I'm not ONLY a crappy player, but that this is actually a thing as well.
Also: MAX the numbers of Wulf attacks per game. Third time we got'im and excuted him on the town square in front of everyone. After we successfully defend the Hamlet next town event should be the public execution of Vvulf. And that's it. You get the Vvulf head in a bag with cool benefits, also Dismas be like: "so we meet again..." and they start teasing each other "what are you doing with these folks, are you playing the good guy now-eh? You know that'll never work!" But it totally does and Dismas's like "you have something that belongs to me" and then you can get the cool trinket of Vvulf of course in a much better version. OR if Dismas is a traitor and it was he who let the Brigands in and if he's still living and even among the fighters against Vvulf, he joins them Siren-style in the final battle and you have to cut him down too (thus getting the Dismas head).
Or whatever. Just prolong his approach please, let us raise at least 8 people to level 5 and then... maybe then.
I beat it barely but without deaths in NG+ with a level 4 and three level 5 heroes with level 5 weapons and level 4 armour. That I think is about fair so the event should trigger once you have a level 5 blacksmith upgrade rather than just level 5 heroes.
Okz would come just to stomp tough 'umies though...
So what's the point of sending some noobs to die, if you can just do another quest altogether?
In fact redhook changed that shortly after they introduced Town Events. Originally, two upgrades were still destroyed, but thanks to a later patch this doesn't happen anymore when failing or retreating the mission.
Once you have that, it's not difficult at all, I've done it twice now with minimal issues both times. I agree with Sir Francis that it should only spawn once you've beaten half the champion level bosses.
