Impossible to hit?
I don't know if this is just horrible luck (which is likely is because I seem to have the worst) but I consistently miss literally every ability against an enemy no matter what.. It's crazy. It'll say I have like, an 85% chance to hit.. then miss 4 times in a row. I just missed 14 attacks against a Cultist Acolyte with no buffs. In a row. Each attack having at least 70%. What am I supposed to do about this?

The game does use real percentages. Accuracy is also very valuable on upper difficulty levels, but 70 percent and 85 percent seem to be very good. It's just bad luck.

Geez. It seems to be for all chance based skills to. So far Wyrm Reconstruction has only healed for 0 and I've used it about 16 times

Atone for your RNG sins.

For me anything bellow 80% accuracy is not really good. But man... missing 14 hits in a row with ~70% accuract that is worst rng I have ever heard of. I'm kinda doubting if it was 70%. It 's extremely unlikealy to get that bad of rng

At that levels of bad luck, gotta ask, any mods in play?

I feel like Accuracy and Dodge are key attributes in this game. They usually limit a lot of the team builds i want to try out because if i don't wear trinkets to increase these, i'll likely get my arse kicked on higher difficulty dungeons.

This game is totally unfair and it doesn't even try to hide.
I love it.

I would say that accuracy is much more important than dodge. I always give accuracy trinkets to all of my damage dealers, and it helps a lot. They can't hit you if you kill them before they get the chance.

Reminder that when you miss, the game actually gives you a hidden accuracy buff that stacks until you land a hit, then you lose the hidden buff.
4 misses in a row is possible with 70% just very unlikely - just keep in mind that if you start missing a lot one target, if you hit an easier one you will lose that hidden buff.

It was for more. I'm not to surprised as I've always had really really bad luck in these types of games but never quite that poor.. I was playing Darkest Dungeon 2 earlier today and managed to get blighted with a 135% blight resist.. and a few years ago in WoW when WoD came out I managed to fail a garrison mission with a 108% chance of success. I'm just hoping there's ways I can really mitigate the RNG to this so I don't get stomped by y'know.. my bad luck

Eh, I'd honestly say, for this game, anything below 90% chance to hit is bad.

ACC and SPD are the strongest stats in the game, no contest.

Play Darkest Dungeon instead of whatever game you're playing.

70% = 75%, because Darkest Dungeon.
Miss 1 => 75%
Miss 2 => 79%
3 => 83%
4 => 87%
5 => 91%
6 => 95%
7 => 99%
8 => 103%

The Darkest Dungeon code doesn't allow more than 8 misses in a row against a displayed 70% chance to hit.

Is it not a 5 percent bonus?
