Trinket Bug

First off love the game, love the grind, As of today I have 306 hrs logged in this game. By no means does this bug I encounter deter me away from playing this game over and over but im here to vent.

I was playing late last night, in the state of mind where i kept saying "just one more run, then i got to go to bed since i have work tomorrow." 6 more runs later, I had my team set up, weapons upgraded, skills set up, camping skills optimized, trinkets equipped. Only I gave in to my tiredness and exited to desktop to go to sleep. Today when I log back into the hamlet, I decided to rename everyone in the hamlet after Darksouls NPCs for the hell of it. my heros i set up the night before were still setup to go. I go to enter the dungeon and provision up, only I realize that all the trinkets i had equipped the night before were no longer equipped. Whats worse is they are no longer in my inventory either. No town event, no stress relief activity logged in journal, trinkets just vanished into thin air. There went my sun rings, unholy ring, ancestral scroll, dismas head.

For now on i will not equip trinkets till the very end of the provisioning. Never quit a game in which trinkets are equipped. and never rename my heros if they have trinkets on. I dont know at what point the trinkets went missing, upon the game loading or the renaming of heros

Sorry to get off-topic about your thread, I'm just glad to hear at least one other person say this. I just like not being the only person who is actually fairly fond of grinding.

If you've ever played the original Rogue or Nethack, you know what I mean, when you just spend hours killing nothing meaningful to grind for items and supplies.
