Why all the sexy mods?
Not in a "Ew, boobies, Im too much of a gentleman to find this arousing" sense, Im just genuinely curious, what is it about this game that makes sexy skin mods so common? It just seems like this would be the last game people would make sexy mods for, so why?

If anyone who uses sexy mods or just anyone else who is interested could share their opinion that would be great.

You are the single most degenerate person on this entire 6-page topic about degenerates and perverts.
I'd rather be a perverted degenerate than a filthy normie.

So you are going to see the creative vision of preteens more often when there is no barrier to entry like learning a programming language well enough to read it.

Go back to sleep, Grandpa.

Wow haven't seen ♥♥♥♥♥ like this in some time. The reason why you remember the more "life altering" stuff from "back in the day", is because "back in the day" is a long time span and you have the chance to cherry pick. How many complete overhaul mods of Doom was released in the year 2003? How many "dota" like mod of WoW was released in August 2014?

Idk. All I know is that I have not seen a mod improve a game in 20 years. They have been inelegant at best.
Wow, I don't know if that one qualifies as a troll, an attempt at edginess or just being a selective prick for the sake of imposing one's own delusional narrative, but that comment deserves an award for reaching a whole new level of obliviousness.

Mind if I copy paste it around a bit? I want to keep that one around for a good laugh in my group.

You will never be a real woman
Lmao, I've been told worse by my own family, if you really wanna hurt someones feelings, just go upstairs and tell your mom you owned a liberal on the internet again and watch her break down in tears for the fourth time this week, wondering what she did wrong to raise such an unlikable waste of air for a child.

I don't necessarily think all nude mods are necessarily sexy. The Cordena comes to mind, but we do have a lot of immersion breaking ones but the secret is, don't download or use them! I use the Cordena and Omen Seeker for absolutely game tactical purposes, I do think the Omen seeker could appear more realistic but I don't have agency over what someone else's art should look like, or their body in reality.

Its not our fault that you are from stone age and have no knowledge of mods for new games. I'd say that there are more total conversion mods for Skyrim than all the "good old days" mods combined.

Are there any good ones though? All the ones I tried required outside java script installing, and they just used such inelegant solutions to solving problems. While it's true that they are not template "mods", but they certainly don't feel like elegant implementations. Not like BG tutu mod felt. Even Morrowind mods make me lose interest in the game. Spent 40 hours in a playthrough to find that the mod I was using made it so I could not enchant always active effects. I will never mod Morrowind again. Or there would be some huge open world addition with no actual content and invisible CTD walls.
So you're saying you've never used a decent modloader, the vortex modloader over on nexus mods is really simple to use and when you download mods from their site it automatically adds them to your list of mods you can install on your game, I find that skyrim as a game is kinda bland and empty, but just a few mods is enough to make things much more interesting, things like Ordinator, apocalypse spells, SkyUI, the lost city, the latter of which is one of the best quests I've played in a game, let alone just in skyrim.

I can agree that most games have rather simple mods available for them, especially on the steam workshop, but theres still the occasional mod that really improves the base game, or changes it entirely.

^ I'll second this and add that even just graphical mods can greately enhance a game. Paying money for a game is...expected but you get absolutely more entertainment per penny with mods, usually!

I am not worried about getting the mods to work. I am worried about spending countless hours trying to find a mod that adds an improvement. Some of them you may not even be able to figure out the damage they caused until you are deep into the game. Like that Morrowind mod.
I can't really speak for morrowind modding, its not a game I got into tbh, but the mods I installed for skyrim never really caused any long term damage, usually if there were issues they could be solved by changing the load order or changing some configs.

Also unintended bugs or damage is part of the risk in installing any third party software

^ But who chose to waste it or found it a waste? What you are saying can only be applied to your experience, as long as someone else has a different one, it stands to say that it's ultimately up to the player.

Ahhh I see what you mean. Overall I am not a fan of revealing mods, but am ok with sexuality being an element of a character's backstory like the Harlot. Some mods have nudity but I don't consider them sexual like The Cordena. Some are done well but are sexual like the hood (but I personally don't use them, just the class abilities don't mesh with strategies I employ) But yeah blatant ones where the graphics look cut and paste are just cringe.

Well I certainly am not claiming my opinions are fact. I just said that I see the quality of mods change when modding became easier. That is why we see so many of the creepy mods. Because the barrier for entry is lower, and we are seeing the creative vision of younger people more often now.
Okay, thats fair, Imo its good that modding has become a lot more accessible, people might start out making very simple mods, but its a potential path to making more impressive mods, or even making their own games eventually, but yea, it can lead to a larger quantity of low effort or poorly designed mods.
