I also just killed Brigand Vvulf (finally) and I brought a Bounty Hunter (+Houndmaster, who applied bleed) and I equipped both Crimson Court trinkets on the Bounty Hunter (who also gets a +dmg bonus against human enemies) and he crit Vvulf for 66 with Collect Bounty, after my Occultist had applied Mark. Poor Vvulf went down in like three turns. I can't believe the devs didn't give Vvulf any +prot with that big shield that he's carrying.
Emboldening vapours is a Plague Doctor skill which buffs a target ally with a 25% dmg and like 4-5 speed buff at lvl 5, and revenge is a leper skill which gives him a lot of buffs for dmg, crit and accuracy, but also decreasing his defenses.
Emboldening vapours lasts the whole battle
Those giants hit for a lot anyways, but still, revenge is a boss killing move, you usually do not want to press revenge on hallway battles, it has such a low tempo on hallways/room battle for it to be worth pressing.
Tho since bosses have quite a ton of HP you get super high value of revenge when you already swing at the boss for like 3 turns, and even more if your leper happens to crit
It's only worth it on a boss. Any other fight should be done long before you build up the damage. I've used Revenge exactly once, for the Countess, and I didn't bother with the Shard dust to refresh it. I wasn't trying to one-shot her.
