How do I beat the Hag?
Cut a long story short: I got wrecked by her the first time. I Googled up how to beat her and got wrecked again. My abilities are level 3, Gear level 4, all trinkets custom selected. I ran an Arabalest, Vestal, Houndmaster and Champion (All level 6). The Champion (My orignal) died and the other three only just made it out. I went into the battle at full health for everyone with no debuffs.

Honestly can't see how I can beat her unless I took 4 Arabalests and even then I don't see how I'd get to her in the first place.

i assume you mean lvl 5 hag? The hag witch?
Here is how you beat her:
Beat her.
In the face.
Exclusively.
She dies.
Your hero in the pot will not even hit deaths door most of the time.
NEVER hit the freaking pot ok??
Never.

Level 6 and fighting bosses for the first time? It sounds like you aren't experimenting with the other classes at all. With that gear/level your Arbalest and Houndmaster could have probably burst down the Hag if you ignored the pot.

Can't really give any advice in regards to a non-standard "Champion" class. If he's anything like a Leper boiling in a pot is probably the best contribution he could have had anyways.

Bring people who can all hit rank 3+. Ignore the pot and just mow her down. A marking party works here, she doesn't get too many actions per turn so the mark actually last enough to make good use of it.

Else Bleed also works, Flag is good, if he happens to be on the pot he will heal everyone when he goes back.

Sometimes she survives enough to take a hero to Death Door in the pot and when he goes out she does Tenderize right away and he dies... It happens every once and then. But should be able to kill her nevertheless.

Backline hard-hitters are the best bet. Even better if they have a high chance to crit. Highwayman and Graverobber are very nice here, as are the Arbalest and Houndmaster. Although you also need to be sure your party is flexible regarding which position they can attack from, because if someone goes in the pot and comes out, they will move the whole party back and be on position 1, and this can mess you up big time.

Other useful things to do:

- Use any kind of DMG and CRIT buffs you can lay your hands on during camping prior to the boss. Again, Highwayman has very nice self-buffs for that. Man at Arms also has nice buffs on your whole party (Man at Arms can also strike rank 3 with his basic attack, so he's a better choice than Leper or Crusader for position 1)

- If you can, do a corpse purifying quest just before this one to get the 'Sunshine in the Thicket' town event. This will allow you to deal +15% DMG on the next Weald quest, which will be this one and make things a hell of a lot easier.

Wait how are you just now fighting the Hag at a champion level? You should've fought her 2x before and figured out some basics at least.

Is this the Apprentice Hag? Your party doesn't make sense to me. If it is, with level 4 gear you should be able to absolutely wreck her with pretty much any four random characters. Her HP pool is tiny. If it's the Champion Hag, your equipment/skills are nowhere near good enough to be attempting Champion level areas.
