Is it possible to spawn shambler by reentering a room?

I occasionally found myself with a Party at Full Health , almost little to no stress and a full hallway explored. While it doesn't happen quite alot in the higher tier dungeons like Champion, it always puts me in a moment of "Can I still milk this?"

Shambler doesn't spawn in rooms, afaik, only corridors. Extinguish your torch and keep walking back and forth between rooms. Do keep in mind that Shambler's not the worst thing you can find in the dark.

The only thing worse than the shambler is the fanatic, and the fanatic doesn't require the dark.

I had to look tf is worse than a shambler, and it turns out that the fanatic is a crimson court boss meaning it won't spawn for me.

ALSO! I meant "Re-entering" a room not walking back and forth between two rooms

will that spawn shambler?

no, he only spawns on corridors at pitch black torch
